This firm represented a sixty-five year old man who suffered from respiratory distress due to lung disease. The respiratory therapist came into the Plaintiff's room to do a routine therapy and swap oxygen supply. During the course of this routine procedure, the defendant therapist failed to adjust Plaintiff's oxygen supply at the appropriate levels which Plaintiff's contended caused or contributed to an oxygen deprivation injury.
This case settled prior to filing a lawsuit in an amount that the hospital insisted on being confidential.
